Continuing in Philippians Paul instructs the Christians of Philippi how true righteousness is obtained. Using his own notoriety as an example Paul counts it as naught. To gain Christ is all that matters. (Philippians 3:1-14, 1:10, 21; Galatians 2:21, Jeremiah 9:23-24)
Matt continues in Philippians and compares it to a rebellion however, a rebellion for God. Make one thing the Main thing and that one thing is Jesus. (Philippians 1:28, 2:2, 3:19, 4:2, 4:10; Isaiah 5:23; Daniel 12:3)
