- for our sins
- to pay the blood price
- obedient
- to do God’s will
- to take my place

He demonstrated His power. His Father raised Him, the obedient Son.
Romans 4:22 Faith (credited as righteous)
It is also credited to us who believe in Jesus – raised because of our justification
(Romans 5:1)
Justified – Peace
Triune God conversed before creation regarding the plan of salvation.
God redeemed His creation by becoming one.
Headship created to rule, His image”
Adam (head) obeyed self, serpent. He bought death for us.
Distance placed between God and man.
Adam brought ruin, curse, condemnation.
Everything under man’s rulership fell.
Example headship: Abraham also became a head.
Levi tithed to Melchizedek through Abraham.
Jesus comes to be the Head, second Adam Ruler over all, fully man, fully God, but not Adam.
Jews reject Him. You don’t choose how to come to God. The God who gave the Torah also fulfilled those prophecies.
When Israel wants a king, God tells Samuel they have rejected, no Samuel, but God.
God allows for King to be killed to deal with sin.
The cross dealt with human sin.
In Jesus, King, His headship, the sin was dealt with.
Raised to life
Romans 5:24 – justification
God could have left Jesus in the grave, dealing with sin. We would have died and faced judgment.
Gog’s court is above Rome, Sanhedrin.
His court is over ruling and declaring Jesus innocent. Death has to let Him go.

Faith credited as righteousness -Romans 4:9
And for us too
