Today Paul Trask concludes his study of the book of Galatians by reviewing the final chapter of this book, chapter 6.

In this chapter the Apostle Paul wraps up his argument against the Judaizers who had corrupted the once pure faith of the Gentile Galatian Christians.

Admonitions to:

  • carry each other’s burdens, by gentle restoration
  • be circumspect and responsible for one’s own actions
  • share “all good things” with their instructor

Reaping and sowing:

  • Sow to your flesh = destruction
  • Sow to the Spirit = eternal life
  • Therefore, “do good to all people, especially the household of faith”

Paul’s parting comments:

  • Up close, personal and intimate
  • “Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.”

Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God!
