Jan 1, 2019 – Jesus Knows — Trust Him
The this New Year, the key to our future is written in the past.
Today the program is centered around Isaiah 46:9-10 and Ecclesiastes 1:9.
“Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’.”
Isaiah 46:9-10
“That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9
Today’s program also links the Genesis 1 narrative of Creation.
God, The Great I Am existed before time and space and at some point created “Everything” that exists in time and space.
God being omniscient (having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving all things) created.
The creation plan in Genesis points toward the future provisions for all mankind.
- The framework of a world for people to live from Adam to Christ Jesus to you and I.
- The provision of animals for food and sacrifice.
- Great fish created to one day swallow Jonah.
- Birds of the air that would one day feed Elijah.
- Trees of the forest that would one day be fashioned into a cross to Crucify Jesus Christ!
God has a plan for you and I. What we must do is trust his omnipotent, omniscient power that lies within his provisions. Not only from times past but also for today and into the future.
