Colossians continues in Chapter 3. A brief review of Chapter 2 (especially verses 20 and 11-13) before moving into Chapter 3:1-17 These verses are instruction as to what we are to do and how to act in accordance with being filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Today we continue in the book of Colossians. In verse 15 of Colossians 1, we see the preeminence of Jesus, being the firstborn thru verse 19 where it is stated that it was the Father’s good pleasure that this occurred. God is in control. Jesus became the New Adam and the Church became the new Eve. Christians are the guardians of the church. Colossians 1:9-27
