Feb 20, 2018 – Obedience is Trusting in God’s Faithfulness
In this last conversation of God with Abraham we see that obedience is the way God expects humans to pass the test of trusting His faithfulness. The opposite of obedience is regret, and obedience makes a place for God to bless by His own will for your respecting His trustworthiness. A progeny/Seed is secured by a willingness to sacrifice, and the purchase of Sarah’s burial tomb is the beginning of a series of events that will ultimately see Jesus, the Seed of Abraham, purchase and own the entire world but not before He Himself is buried in a tomb in the land of Israel to secure a progeny for our God and Father.
