In today’s lesson, Matt uses Philippians 2:1-12, Romans 6:23, God humbled himself to be man to ultimately pay the sin debt due, and will judge all mankind.

• God is Jesus and Jesus is God
• Both are LORD and King of all existence.
• Absolute Love, Responsibility, Power and Judgment rest within their prerogative.
• The Triune God is responsible for everything that was and is and will be.
• Love of his creation, man, made it necessary to provide a way to atone for the sin committed by his creation–not because he had to, but wanted to.
