The Hebrews study continues with chapter 7:25 and continues through chapter 8. We will do well if we trust Jesus, he fits our needs! The main point of Hebrews 8:1 is that Jesus is our High Priest. (Hebrews 7:25-28, Exodus 20, Hebrews 8:1-13)
He has not gone away to Heaven but gone before to heaven and is our High Priest there today. The study continues in Hebrews beginning in chapter 6. God has made a promise to himself. (Hebrews 6:4-7, 6:9-20, 7:1-28, 8:1-3, Psalm 110:4)
Jesus our Judge and High Priest God knows our hearts. The Hebrew’s study continues with chapter 4 verse 12 through chapter 5. (Hebrews 3:7, 4:7; Romans 9:30-33; Hebrews 3:1, 2:17-18, 4:1, 1:5; Luke 3:38)
Paul’s perspective on the Ascension continues with Hebrews 3:7 to 4:11. It is time to stand up and stand out. We are to encourage one another as we do our part in this covenant until the end. Following Jesus will change your life sometimes in ways you never expect and we all need the encouragement given in Hebrews 3:13. (Hebrews 3:7-19, 4:1-11)
Jesus the Great Conqueror of Death and the Devil! Paul’s account of the Ascension is continued in Hebrews 2:14. We have a heavenly calling as a result of Christ’s death and ascension. This new covenant is focused on Christ and is a multinational covenant, open to all. (Hebrews 2:14-18, 3:1-15, 4:10)
